Quick Start

This guide will get you up and running in less than 10 minutes.

Step 1: Connect to MT5

On launch, Cerebrum automatically attempts to connect to MetaTrader 5.

  • ✅ Connection successful: The indicator in the top right turns green

  • ❌ Failed: Verify that MT5 is open and configured

Step 2: Data Extraction

Before you can train models or make predictions, you need to extract historical data.

  1. Go to the Extraction tab

  2. Configure the start year (default: 2015)

  3. Click Smart Extract

Note

The first extraction may take several minutes depending on the amount of data.

Step 3: Model Training

Once data is extracted:

  1. Go to the Training tab

  2. Click Train All to train all models

  3. Monitor progress in the indicators

Step 4: Predictions

After training:

  1. Go to the Prediction tab

  2. Select a timeframe (e.g., 1h)

  3. Click Predict or enable automatic predictions
